How do you feel?
It's a simple question that for many of us is difficult to answer. That question also led to some of the deepest research ever done on how we process our emotions.
Dr. Marc Brackett has devoted the past 25 years to conducting research in the field of Social and Emotional Learning and developing RULER, which stands for Recognizing, Understanding, Labeling, Expressing and Regulating emotions.
He is also the founding Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.
He joins us on this episode to talk about his new book. "Permission to Feel" is a personal and professional journey to discovering how emotions drive learning, decision making, creativity, relationships, and health.
